Cousins Barry Chase and Eric Chase are Chase Construction. Barry as the President and Eric Vice President. We’ve been in business for over 30 years and we trace our lineage in the area to the very first settlers of Wells, the Littlefields.
After going to school and finishing training as a machinist, Barry started out in 1985 building spec homes with Eric. We both were still holding down full-time jobs, building on weekends and evenings. In 1987, along with a small crew, we renovated a motel in Ogunquit, with our cousin Wayne Chase (now Shop Foreman) joining the company. The business continued to grow, our team started to expand, and we turned a corner in 1991 when we built our first high-end custom home.
Colby Chase, Barry’s son, returned to Maine in 2016 from Boston to join the family business after getting his degree in biology and working post-college. He’s no stranger at Chase, since he’s been working summers since age 12. Colby’s now involved in all phases of the business and is a key part of the team. His first priority is to provide you with the highest levels of honesty and workmanship.
Our integrity will never be compromised. Customer referrals and repeat business are the backbone of our company. Our history in the area as both citizens and business people — and our track record for integrity and professionalism — are just a few of the reasons why Chase Construction is the premier custom builder in Southern Maine.
